ABOUT THE CNC
Founded in 1987, The Colonial Newfoundland Club (CNC) provides a place for brand new and experienced Newfoundland Dog owners to get together. We share problems, ideas and social events that include our members’ human and canine families.
Our wonderful Newfoundland dogs are happy doing lots of different activities—as long as they are by your side. Whether watching TV together on the couch or teaching your Newf to tow a boat during a water trial—the Colonial Newfoundland Club will be your resource for fun and educational connections.
As we all begin to emerge from pandemic restrictions, one of Colonial’s 2022 objectives is to have more get togethers that are fun for CNC members and their dogs.

THE NEWSLETTER
Bear Fare is the quarterly newsletter for Colonial Newfoundland Club (CNC) members. The editors are very grateful to everyone who submits articles for Bear Fare. This is YOUR newsletter -- so your input is always appreciated. We encourage ALL members to submit articles/brags/news to make the Bear Fare interesting. The NEWF SCOOPS section is FREE. It covers wins, places, obedience legs, etc., at shows & trials. New Champions & Title-holding Newfs will also be announced here.
Advertising: Acceptable paid advertising will be included as space permits. Ads will be placed at the discretion of the editors. The advertising rate for CNC members is $20 for a full page and $10 for a half page. Checks payable to Colonial Newfoundland Club.
Bear Fare Newsletter Deadline dates for all submissions publish in Bear Fare are the LAST DAY of April (Spring Issue), July (Summer Issue), October (Fall Issue) and January (Winter Issue).
