  • Newf Rescue Foster Homes Needed
Between the time a Newfoundland Dog is taken into the rescue program and the time it goes to its new home, the dog is cared for in a foster home. CNC is looking for more volunteers to provide foster care to these dogs in need. If you might be able to help in this way from time to time, please contact our Rescue Chair:

Newfoundland Rescue
One of the most important of the club's activities is rescuing unwanted or abandoned Newfs. When a club member is made aware of a Newfoundland in need, rescue operations immediately begin. The dog is brought into the club's fold, placed in a foster home, given any required veterinary care, and evaluated for temperament and socialization. If the dog is adoptable, the search for a new family begins. This is a great way to acquire a Newf that will be eternally grateful for his new home
