herein referred to as Releasor.

     In consideration of being permitted to participate in one or more of the following [such activities or events being illustrative and not exclusive]: training, rescue training, practice sessions, general gatherings, social gatherings, placement interviews, adoptions, foster home use, short or long term, and all other activities or events conducted or sponsored in whole or in part by the Colonial Newfoundland Club, Inc., herein, collectively referred to as Activities, Releasor, for him or herself, his or her spouse, legal representatives, heirs and assigns, hereby waives and discharges the Colonial Newfoundland Club, Inc., its officers, and members and promoters, sponsors, advertisers, owners and lessees of the premises and each of them, their officers and employees, referred to as Releasees, from all liability to the Releasor, his or her spouse, legal representatives, heirs and assigns, for any and all loss or damage, and any claim or damages resulting there from, on account of injury to Releasor's person or property, whether caused by the negligence or Releasees or otherwise while Releasor is competing, working or for any purpose participating in Activities whether caused by the negligence of Releasees or otherwise.

     Releasor hereby assumes full responsibility for the risk of bodily injury, death or property damage, including, but not limited to injury to person or dogs or other animals, due to the negligence of Releasees while competing, officiating in, working or for any purpose participating in Activities.

     Releasor expressly agrees that this release, waiver and indemnity agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the states in which Activities of Releasees occur and that if any portion thereof is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect.
